Eartha Kitt Among Nominees for 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

The late Tony nominee, Eartha Kitt, has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her voice work in Nickelodeon's movie, "The Wonder Pets."

Kitt passed away in 2008 on Christmas Day at the age of 81. The legendary actress, singer and cabaret star was best known for her distinctive vocals and her 1953 hit Christmas song 'Santa Baby.' She also starred as Catwoman in the original Batman TV series.

The posthumous nomination was given to Kitt for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program. Other nominees include Amy Poehler, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Ed Asner.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will air June 27 on CBS.
